Big Race Comp 2020

BIG RACE COMP
Changes to replace the Major Race Comp. Races should be Group/Listed or Major Handicaps, Ebor, Hunt Cup Stewards Cup etc
I will try on post a weekly list of races being covered on the BIG Race Comp Thread.
Competition will run on Weekends and during Festival weeks. Maximum of 3 Big Races per day.
Pick 3 horses for each big race in the order you think they will finish.
For each selection that finishes in the position forecast, the S/P is doubled before settling.
MINIMUM OF 8 RUNNERS FOR RACE TO COUNT.
The settling would work as follows from there.
1st - 100% of S/P
2nd - 50 % of S/P
3rd - 25 % of S/P
Add together and Settle to a £10 stake

This thread to be used for posting selections, weekly Big Races list and tables

How do Peeps feel about this comp?
Is it worth doing when most races will be covered by Festival Comp etc?

Thoughts on scrapping it for this year please?

Hugo is struggling to make regular entries so I guess like last year he'd just ignore the Big Races and Festival comps anyway.
I suspect Lynne is easy either way as to whether to keep them or not - she's out right now.
It would be a shame to drop the Big Races, IMO, but they wouldn't be missed on the whole I'd think, so, yeah, drop them, Steve, no worries.

Yes, I'm happy to lay aside the Big Races (although you may have noticed that I don't pick the same horses as I do the Festival Comp! - like to broaden my scope).  Let's keep the Festival Comp going if we can please.
