Favourite Jockeys and Trainers
Flat: Andrea Atzeni and Graham Lee, with no particular favourite trainers.
Jumps: Ryan Mania, Brian Hughes and Paddy Brennan, Sue Smith and John Quinn, trainers.
Dual-purpose trainer: Gotta be David O'meara and Brian Ellison

Yes. Michael Stoute and John Gosden. A young Richard Hughes too. Most jockeys were fairly friendly and would often speak to us. The trainers not so much. Sir Henry would always reply if you spoke to him, a real gentleman. Said Bin Suroor always said good morning when I saw him.

What a great job!
The only famous(?) folk I've met was Angela Rippon and Hugh Scully at the BBC in Plymouth about 45yrs ago, my Dad worked there.
She was skinny and rude and he was snobbish and pretentious.
I nearly walked into Henry Cooper on a golf course in Ealing some 40yrs ago, that would have been a big mistake!
