Great Leighs is to apply for a licence and the chance to hold fixtures in 2015 under the new guise of Chelmsford City Racecourse after being taken over by a new company.

Yes, good, not forgetting that there are plans for a new all-weather track too, at the mo, Newcastle or Catterick.

we do seemto be really trying to invest in the a/w at the moment what with these two things and the all weather championships. to my mind it would seem a better idea to increase prize money although maybe the two things aren't linked. great news all the same about great leighs Smile
