The Comp will get underway on Monday Jan 7th, 2013.

Can an Admin do the necessary for my mate. He has submitted e-mail address and password but he is waiting for an admin to give an ok.
Didn't realise we were working it that way.

Can the clock be changed.. It is 1 hr out

By Charles request, I turned off the ability for anyone to register ... Is there a general concensus either way? do we care if other people join ? or shall we keep it so that each new user is 'manually approved'?

Im approving both "Dmouse" and "Betaruth" as I dont know which one he would prefer to use ... We can disabed/delete whichever one he doesnt want to use

Hmm.. seems ok to me Alan.. are you sure the machine your viewing the website from isnt an hour out? - i think the Time displayed comes from there...

Double-checked and it's set to the GMT+0 Belfast/London timezone ... Should be ok.

I don't mind if we keep or abort any check on new registrations, your choice Hugo as mod/admin.

Having to log-in to view threads, slightly tedious, will that remain?

I'm posting this on an ipad.. Clock at the top says 21:03

Ok my post on my screen says 10.03pm i.e 22:03 which is wrong.. Is everyone else seeing my post above as 10:03pm or 9:03pm???

No matter.. My preference setting on this forum was set to rome ( i wish ).. Changed it now

I can change it so you *DON'T* have to login -- but again, this was my interpretation of your concerns when moving away from MyFC.. I didnt think you wanted anyone to be able to view the forums unless they were a member.

I can swiftly change it back so that a login isnt required though -- Can you confirm this is the required course of action?

Yes please.
Once Patrick's registered, total 6 members, there won't be any new applicants, (known to us), so your verification, if there are any, would be effective then.
This is my opinion, what of others?

I have already changed the settings so that Patrick can 'self-register' without my intervention ...

I shall also now change the settings so that you no longer have to login to view the forums... This means that 'guests' or people 'wandering the internet' can view the forum and it's messages without having to login..

Let me know if we need it changing back etc - easy enough to do
